In order to be sure that all of the systems are in working order and operating as they should, it is recommended that you get the chimney of your sauna cleaned at least every 6 months. Consider the do’s and don’ts below to understand the more specific safety requirements of your sauna. <a href="https://www.dropbox.com/s/vh0s5kknwc1y8cf/Stoveman%2013_SAUNA%20HEATER%20INSTALLATION%20AND%20OPERATING%20MANUAL_ENG.pdf?dl=0">In case of any doubt consult the Sauna Stove User Manual</a>DO have your chimney cleaned by a professional sweeper twice a year or more often if it sees heavy use. This eliminates soot and creosote buildup that can easily catch fire. DO take extra caution in case the sauna hasn’t been used for a longer period – check the condition of the ash box, the chimney and the smoke flue, and ask for a professional opinion in case of doubt. DO burn resin-free woods like alder and birch as they produce less creosote.DO make sure your wood is seasoned (at least six months to one year) as it will burn better and leave less creosote residue. DO use a proper fire starter like crumpled paper / newspaper, birch bark or a special wood fire starter to ignite the fire as the use of wrong substances can easily cause chimney fire. DO empty the ash box each time before heating the stove and put the ash in a metal container. As the removed ash may contain hot embers, do not keep the ash container close to combustible material or the sauna. DO keep the ash box slightly open when heating the stove, but close it when the sauna room is heated to decrease wood consumption. DO take measures to lengthen the life span of your stove:  - Excessive draught to the fire will cause the stove body to become red-heated, which will shorten its life span considerably;  - Burning large amounts of wood of high thermal value will shorten the life span of the stove;  - Excessive heating (several full loads in a row, for example) will make the sauna room, stove and chimney overheat, which shortens the life span of the stove and may cause a fire;  - The use of seawater will corrode the stove very rapidly;  - Empty the ash box before heating the stove so that the combustion air would cool off the fire grate and lengthen its life span. DO rearrange the sauna stones once a year as the large variation in temperature disintegrates the stones in use. Remove any pieces of smaller or cracked stones from the stone space and replace disintegrated ones. DO check the stove once a year as to the wear and tear of the metal parts of the stove. DO take time to heat up your sauna and do not try to get the sauna hot quickly as overheating might cause a fire. If you do feel that the sauna takes longer than usual to heat up, conduct a thorough inspection of the sauna as this might indicate a serious problem. DO wipe dust and dirt from the stove with a damp cloth every month. DO get acquainted with the instructions in case of fire: • Close the ash box and stove door; • Call the fire department; • Do not try to extinguish fire using water, but a special fire extinguisher. DO NOT start fire with flammable fluids, such as gasoline, lighter fluids, solvents or anything else not labelled as wood fire starter as this will cause chimney fire. DO NOT ever burn the following materials in the stove: • materials of high thermal value like chipboard, plastic, coal, brickets, pellets • painted or impregnated wood • any waste (textiles, leather, rubber, disposable diapers, PVC plastics, etc) • garden waste (grass, leaves, etc) • liquid fuel that might seem like an easy way of starting the fire DO NOT leave the door of the stove open when burning wood in the stove. The amount of draught can be adjusted by opening the ash box. DO NOT let the fire burn unattended.DO NOT leave the firewood, matches, or any other combustible material in the hot room of the sauna. DO NOT keep the ash container close to the sauna as the removed ash may include hot embers and catch fire.

We will review some of the most common points and introduce you to Iglucraft garden rooms.Size and use of the garden houseBefore buying a garden house, you should first think about how big the house could be and how you want to use it. The need for a building permit depends on what is being built or what is going to be done with the building and how large the building is.A garden house with a size of up to 20 m² and height not exceeding 5 meters often does not require a building permit, but this certainly varies from country to country, so be sure to check your local building code for this, as well as for the need of planning permission, before ordering a garden house.Iglucraft garden houses are 2.55 m high and have a floor area from 10,4 m² to 18.6 m², so a building permit is usually not required for garden house installation.

Garden house construction vs a ready-made garden houseGarden house construction is a time-consuming project. The process to build a garden room begins with design, followed by foundation construction, material selection, and construction. A much faster solution is to purchase a ready-made garden house with a well-thought-out solution and quality guaranteed by masters.Garden house foundation Garden house installation starts with the preparation of the foundation. There are three ways to prepare the foundations for our cabins:<ul><li>Full-size smooth and level foundation made of either concrete or other hard material;</li><li>Three long beams running perpendicular to the base beams, which are level and support both ends and the center of each base beam;</li><li>A pillar foundation where each base beam is supported at both ends and in the middle. The surfaces of the pillars must be perfectly level with each other.</li></ul>In short, if each base beam is supported either completely or at least at both ends and in the middle, and the whole surface is perfectly level, everything is correct. That applies to small, medium and large garden houses. A failed foundation makes it difficult to match details, causes problems with the operation of doors and windows, and reduces the stability and life of the cabin.

Iglucraft, managed by entrepreneur of the year, Priit Kallas, launched its newest business extension in Noblessner – Iglupark which consists of five saunas, four offices, and ten igloo houses. In addition to the nearly one million euro-investment in Noblessner, the company is planning to open ten Igluparks in Estonia and fifty all around Europe in the upcoming years. Iglusaunas have gathered recognition here in Estonia, as well as worldwide – the Estonians’ saunas have already been purchased by Gordon Ramsay, David Beckham, and Guy Ritchie, for example. Within the past three years, the company’s turnover has grown from 1.5 million euros to 3.9 million euros. This year’s estimated turnover amounts to 5.1 million euros, and the company is planning to double its production volumes next year.Now, the company’s saunas, igloo huts, and offices can be enjoyed in Noblessner, where the visitors get to spend a night in a room with scenic sea views, use a sauna, or organise a work meeting and motivation-boosting day by the sea. According to Priit Kallas, CEO of the company, Iglupark will serve as a significant expansion from the classic individual sale. “Iglupark will make the igloo saunas much more easily available and as going to the sauna is such a natural part of the Estonian people’s lives, this will provide a convenient opportunity for anyone to have closer contacts with the sauna culture. The sea-side offices are a completely unique innovation and can be used as a temporary space for working or for holding inspiring meetings. Even though we were not necessarily looking for an urban space for building the park, I believe that from the perspective of the views and the milieu, Noblessner is the best location for launching the comprehensive solution for the first time,” he explained. An Igluhut can provide accommodation for the night for up to two people. Igluhuts contain of a living-room, a large bed, a kitchen nook, and a bathroom. There is also a large terrace with outdoor furniture. Offices of various sizes consist of a meeting room for eight people or workstations for five, while a sauna fits up to ten people. The saunas are already available and the offices and Igluhuts will be open for visitors from July.In spite of entering the market of services with Iglupark, the company will remain actively involved with production and sales. According to Kallas, Iglupark will also serve the purpose of a showroom, as the visitors will get to get acquainted with the solution and try it out. This applies to saunas as well as huts which form the majority, that is 75% of the company’s turnover. Creative Woodworks OÜ produces hand-made huts, home offices, and saunas under the Iglucraft trademark. The Dale family talks about their journey to accommodation business with Iglucraft products on the Scotsman. Lisa and Douglas Dale’s family dates back to hundreds of years and has the longest history with farming the same farm in East Lothian.The family wanted to take on a new chapter with holiday accommodation, but was looking for something rather distinguished - unique even, which is why they took their time to choose. Iglucraft had caught their eye and after seeing it with their own eye, the family instantly fell in love with how they are built. Of course an adding bonus was the fact that no-one in Scotland had discovered them yet, whereas some celebrities in the UK like David Beckham and Gordon Ramsay had been enjoying them for quite some time.Douglas and Lisa are receiving 5-star reviews ever since the first Igluhut opened in August 2021, therefore a big success. SCOTSMAN | WHEN WANTING TO DIVERSIFY, CHOOSE AN ESTONIAN IGLUHUT

Iglucraft has recently doubled production and is building a new production building in Viljandi County. While current production capacity has allowed for around 250 houses and saunas to be completed each year, the expansion will allow 500 to be assembled next year, thus resulting in quicker delivery times for clients. In recent years, Iglucraft has taken a major leap forward in terms of both export countries and turnover. Demand has grown significantly, and by the end of April 2021 Iglucraft’s sauna production had been sold out until the end of the year. Waiting times got longer, resulting in a situation where houses were still available, but as more and more saunas were ordered the queues became longer.&quot;If in the past we had always tried to produce enough stock in the warehouse prior to the start of the sauna sales season, then this spring we were faced with a situation where we no longer had a sample to show the customer. As the purchasing of saunas tends to be based on emotion, the customer simply turns his back when they hear in February that they won’t be receiving the sauna by Midsummer’s Day. We had to do something.&quot;As a result, the company decided to build a new production building. However, as its construction will take some time, the situation was temporarily resolved by expanding existing production, which has now achieved the necessary production capacity.Based on the logic employed in the production, it is not possible to increase the production volume by, for example, 30% instead, it had to be doubled. Despite the fact that its products are handmade and each cutting must be installed by hand and individually, production still takes place on a line – so the best solution, in terms of maintaining efficiency and the price level, was to place a new line next to the existing line.The expansion raised production capacity to a new level – production and the team doubled in size, a new team is already being trained, and when the new production building is completed, all that remains is to move to the new location. So, we are happy to announce to our clients that delivery times have become shorter and that the new production will be more energy efficient, more modern and have a smaller ecological footprint.

What made you choose an Igluhut?Kate: &quot;One day I was surfing the Instagram and stumbled across a very cool and quirky sauna, actually, that was made quite similarly to this accommodation unit. I contacted the company thinking that they must be an international big company who is making these, but it so happens that their distributor lives just in the next village and the company is making these in a really small factory in Estonia! They are handcrafted! They ship all over Europe, so we were really lucky at the time to get the cabin.&quot;
